Workplace Safety Observer Training
Overview
To be able to identify criteria where the Safety Observer is required to control, monitor and maintain safety for activity; hazardous environments and activities requiring safety observer control; the safety observer responsibilities; and emergency response measures.
Who Should Attend
- Machine Operators, Process Personnel
- Personnel who work at heights, in confined spaces, working with energy sources
- Management and Health and Safety Personnel
Course Outcomes
- To be able to control, monitor and maintain safety for activity
- Identify hazardous environments and activities requiring safety observer control
- Identify the safety observer responsibilities
- Identify emergency response measures
Pre-Requisites
- Be 16 years of age or over
- Applicants for whom English is a second language must meet IELTS (or equivalent) Level 5.0 (General Training). Proof of this will be required.
