Description:
“Kick start your career with the AMS Group”
The course is run for 3 full days each week for 12 weeks at our Huntly and Masterton training facilities. The course provides you with the range of driver licences, including
- A class of truck licence
- Wheels, Tracks and Rollers endorsements
- Forklift and OSH endorsements
- Dangerous Goods
You will also receive training in other related areas which will provide you with the skills you need to get the job you want. These areas include.
- Heavy Vehicle dynamics
- Driver risk reduction and hazard identification
- Start up and shutdown procedures
We run this course on a regular basis during the year, but places fill up quickly so dont delay in securing your place.
This course is approved by NZQA and all credits will be registered with NZQA. To qualify you must be a New Zealand resident who has held a full car licence for a minimum of 6 months. Our trainers are qualified and have extensive experience in driver training. We have our own fleet of vehicles so all the training is done onsite.

Cost
$1896.00 inc GST; this includes all training resources and use of machinery. You can get a student loan to cover this. Your student loan is monitored and looked after by the Public Trust.
