Job Safety Analysis (JSA) Training Course

Overview

To be able to understand how to prepare a work method statement; undertake a job safety analysis and develop safe operating procedureswith reference to the health and Safety at Work Act 2015.

Who Should Attend

  • Machine Operators, Process Personnel
  • Workers who operate at heights, in confined spaces, working with energy sources adn other high risk activity
  • Management and Health and Safety Personnel
  • Workers that undertake an anlysis of an activity or contractor activity
  • Contractors undertaking work on a customer's site

Course Outcomes

  • Create a work method statement identifying the job
  • Create a work method statement identifying the work activity
  • Identify the environmental context of the job
  • Outline the key processes involved
  • Determine the equipment to be used for the job
  • Document in accordance with reporting procedures

Pre-Requisites

  • Be in employment
  • Be 16 years of age or over
  • Applicants for whom English is a second language must meet IELTS (or equivalent) Level 5.0 (General Training). Proof of this will be required.
