To understand the legislative and organisational health and safety requirements for engaging contractors to perform work on site.

Course Outcomes

  • Identify the legislative and organisational health and safety requirements for engaging contractors to perform work on site
  • Explain how to manage the use of contractors on site to ensure compliance with legislative and organisational health and safety requirements
  • Explain contractor health and safety performance review requirements

Pre-Requisites

  • Be 16 years of age or over
  • Applicants for whom English is a second language must meet IELTS (or equivalent) Level 5.0 (General Training). Proof of this will be required.

Course Fees

$265.00 + GST plus any required disbursements

Course costs include all learning materials and completion certificate. Costs also include registration of unit standard credits with NZQA.
