The Code of Practice requires that Employers must ensure employees are either sufficiently experienced to do their work safely or are supervised by an experienced person. In addition, employees must be adequately trained in the safe use of equipment in the place of work; including protective clothing and equipment. See link below

Our course meets the required of unit standard 23966. Describe types of elevating work platforms (EWPs), and legislative requirements for their use
People who successfully complete this course will be able to.
- Demonstrate knowledge of types of EWPs, their suitability for purpose, and safety features including scissor lift, truck mounted, self-propelled boom lift, trailer mounted, vertical lift.
- Demonstrate knowledge of legislative requirements in relation to Codes of practice and the use of EWPs.
- Operate an Elevated Work Platform (EWP) within following the manufacturer’s recommendations and within the machine’s intended specifications, in accordance with industry requirements.
This course includes theory and practical training.
Cost
Standard price is $250+gst per person. Minimum of 6 people
Registration of NZQA credits on record of learning - $3 plus gst per credit.
