Class 5 Licence

Entry Criteria

You will need to have held a Class 4 full licence for three months if over 25 ( six months if under 25).

You will need to provide a drivers medical if required.

Description

Allows you to drive a vehicle combination from 25,000kgs or over.

Do the NZTA approved course at AMS Group and cut out the learner licence period. Our course includes both a Class 5 Learners and a Class 5 Full licence. We will manage the entire licensing process for you for one fixed price. Our price includes theory training, learner licence fees and a practical assessment.

In our approved course we will include a logbook unit standard (unless you can prove you have sat it with an NZTA approved provider within the last twelve months and we are happy with your current standard), and the Class 5 unit standard which consists of both theory and practical.

Once you have completed the approved course you will be given a certificate. You must take this to an NZTA licensing agent (VTNZ or AA) and have it put on your licence. The certificate is not a licence.

Let us take care of the whole process for you. We will sort out everything you require to sit for a class 5 licence.

All you need to provide is a driver's medical if required. A driver's medical expires 60 days from date of issue and is valid for 5 years once lodged with NZTA. If you have lodged a driver's medical within the last 5 years this is not required.
