Class 2 Truck Licence Courses

Overview - Class 2 up to 18,000kg

Do the NZTA approved Class 2 truck licence course at AMS Group and cut out the learner licence period. We will sort out everything you require to sit for a Class 2 truck licence.

This allows you to drive a vehicle up to 18,000kgs or a vehicle with two axles.

Our course includes both a Class 2 Learners and a Class 2 Full licence. We will manage the entire licencing process for you at one fixed price. Our price includes theory training, learner licence fees and a driver training practical assessment.

In our approved truck and heavy vehicle licence course we will include a logbook unit standard (unless you can prove you have sat it with an NZTA approved provider within the last twelve months and we are happy with your current standard), and the Class 2 unit standard (17574) which consists of both theory and practical.

Let us take care of the whole process for you.

If you already hold your Class 2 learners licence (2L) or your 24089 is current then you may qualify for further course time reductions. Please see below or contact one of our team to discuss your options.

Having your Class 2 Full licence will allow you to sit your Class 4 licence once you have held it for at least six months if under 25 (three months if over 25 years).
