Types of Training Available

Short courses are specifically designed around coaching and assessment. Other options are available if you are looking to increase the capability within your team or to assess their capability against industry best practice.

Coaching and Assessment

Coaching and assessment is the standard framework of the short courses. The short course content is specifically designed for trainees that have industry experience and work with the industry and on the machinery being used every day.

Training

Training is about up-skilling team members to ensure that they will be able to gain the experience to be ready for unit standard based assessment in the future.  This is not a substitute for coaching and assessment as training is a prerequisite to any unit standard assessment being carried out.

Refresher Training

Refresh the unit standards already obtained. Onsite bookings can include a combination of refresher training and unit standard assessment. Talk to us about how this can work for your organisation.

Operational Evaluation (verification of currency)

Assessment of the skill and capability within teams against best practice and code of practice in line with operational procedures.  Verification of currency can also be used to assess skills obtained where this is a prerequisite to other more advanced unit standard options.
